Seasonal Farms

Seasonal farms is a special type of pumpkin patch in Phoenix, as they are a family owned patch around the valley. You can think of them like a pop-up-patch! Each year this pumpkin stand opens up in several locations and the Season Farms family prides themselves on top-notch pumpkins. Their mission is to provide families help with an annual fall tradition throughout October. General admission is $5.00!

When the patch opens up, plan to go with your littles for Kids’ Day! This is a half-day dedicated to maximum kid-friendly fun for their ticket price. The event includes painting a small pumpkin and decorating it with craft supplies like googly eyes, feathers, etc. There is a second craft they can choose to do at the event or take it home so they can enjoy other games and win prizes. You can opt for face paintings for an extra fee. Your kids get to take home a treat bag at the end of all the fun! Admission is $12.00 for kids under 12 years old. This is just for one day, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for tickets.

If you happen to miss the Kids’ Day event, or just can’t make it, there is plenty of pumpkin patch fun to be had the rest of October. Purchase snacks to enjoy while you explore, and pick up some cute fall decor for your home, too. Find them in the east valley here and west valley here.

Rocker 7 Farm Patch

This Phoenix Pumpkin Patch has been around for over 60 years in Arizona! The Leister family has had 5 generations working their farm, and open up their pumpkin patch each year. This farm creates an experience for the whole family with small, themed and decorated photo stops, the pumpkin patch of course, and play areas set up for the kids. You do need to purchase pumpkins separately from your entry ticket.

Pick pumpkins and then hang around for a little extra family time so kids can climb, run, and explore the wide outdoor space. There are sunflower fields, cotton fields, a giant jumping pillow, tractor tire playground and pedal carts! If you plan to spend part of the day together, feel free to pack lunches, drinks and snacks (keep drinks pg) because this pumpkin patch allows outside food and drinks. Watch for their updates on Facebook to find days when they host some amazing local food vendors! Rocker 7 typically opens up from morning to sunset on the weekends, and afternoons to sunset on weekdays, but you can find the price, location and hours details on their website, here.

Looking for a sunflower photo session this season? I’d love to photograph your maternity or family session at Rocker 7, use my contact form here to request time – spaces are limited!

Halloweentown Pumpkin Patch

Here’s another one of the pumpkin patches in Phoenix, AZ that’s great for the whole family. This patch is open Thursday through Sunday, so plan accordingly. In Halloweentown, pick your pumpkins then head to the rides for kids and activities for everyone. Characters will be hanging out around the patch, and kids are encouraged to stop for photos, dress up and complete their costumes with a face painting. Paint a pumpkin together then head to the carnival area. In true carnival fashion, you can test out your bottle toss skills, throwing coordination, and take home prizes. Check out magic shows and photo ops around the patch, too.

There are two locations – east and west valley Phoenix – so rides and games will vary, but a few you can look out for are bounce houses, a carousel and adult friendly road rides. Plan your visit for special characters, shows, and more from the Halloweentown website. Visit the east valley Phoenix location at 4500 E Orchid Ln, Gilbert, AZ 85296 and the West Phoenix location at 2209 N 99th Avenue Phoenix, AZ 85037.

Tolmachoff Farms Pumpkin Days and Field of Screams

One of the pumpkin patches in Phoenix, AZ toward the west valley, Tolmachoff farms offers both fun days and scary nights in October! Enjoy the fun fall experience with pumpkin picking, themed 6 acre corn maze that’s great for the whole family (no chainsaws here), and stop by the petting zoo for some cute farm animals. Take a train ride around the patch, play in some hay and jump into the corn box…I have no doubt that will be the gift that keeps on giving through bath time, but hey! It’s fun, right? Everyone can, quite literally, hop onto the giant jumping pillow, and you can ride the pedal cars with your kids. Of course, there are photo ops aplenty, so you won’t miss a moment of documenting the day.

If you’re ready for a haunting time, visit Tolmachoff Field of Screams during their night hours and try to make it through their haunted corn maze. Tickets for the haunted maze are a higher cost, but you can bundle your tickets and enjoy the experience from day to night! The day time corn maze includes a sort of treasure hunt, too, so you’re sure to enjoy your time exploring and finding your way through. Buy tickets online here and head on over to 5726 N. 75th Ave. Glendale AZ 85303
