You may know they host a fall fest each year in October, but you can go back enjoy more on the farm near the end of November! This family-owned farm was purchased back in 1968 by the Kelsall family when they decided to grow something to give to their community. Do you know what they decided to sell of all things? Christmas trees! In 1980 they started testing and planting trees, which we all know takes some time. But by 1985, they sold their first lot of eldarica pine trees and locals loved they could choose, cut, and dig their own trees for the holidays. This is definitely an Arizona Christmas tree farm you can’t miss!

Wagner Christmas Trees prides themselves on being the freshest trees you’ve seen or had! Find a Noble, Fraser, Douglas or Nordmann tree and pick up an evergreen wreath for your doors and windows. You can purchase a tree stand if you need, and the Wagner Christmas Tree team will deliver and install your tree for you! If you don’t need them to install or deliver, they’ll also help you load up your tree for you to transport yourself. These east Phoenix Christmas tree lots can be found in a few locations each year and have a good variety of trees to choose from. Seasonal Farms offers Douglas, Noble, Grand and Nordmann fir trees as well as wreaths from Oregon and Wisconsin. Select a Fraser, Noble or Douglas Fir from one of their three tree lot locations in east Phoenix. Reserve a tree early from this Arizona Christmas tree farm in Scottsdale. The trees are freshly cut in New Hampshire and delivered to their lot for you to pick up. Stop by and see if the perfect tree is waiting for you to find it and take it home! Mortimer Farms also hosts their annual Country Christmas festival which makes a perfect experience to add onto purchasing your tree! Located just outside of Phoenix, M & D Tree Farm hosts a cut-your-own-tree weekend event in November. Spend a family weekend away to enjoy hay rides and plenty of fun experiences for kids, shop local vendors and visit with Santa for a memorable photo! Take a stroll through the rows of pines and pick your favorite Mondell pine to take home. These trees are grown locally, healthy and desert-ready so they make a perfect festive addition to your home. In November, permits go on sale for Christmas tree cutting in Tonto National Forest. There are specific locations and restrictions, of course. For example, there is a 10 foot maximum height and you must take the entire tree home with you! There are great tips and tricks on this website and Tonto National Forest map can be found here.
Near Tonto National Forest is another great forest to find your tree. You may find and take home a beautiful Blue Spruce, Douglas Fir, Ponderosa Pine, or White Fir tree! Again, it’s recommended to do your research on the website, for restrictions and locations. Apache Sitegreaves National forest is near Show Low in Springerville, but you can find directions here.
